With an illuminance meter you measure the light quantity falling on a specific surface, reported measured in lux (lx). Besides the illuminance the Asteria also has a high-speed sampling mode to assess lighting flicker. A compact version uses an integrated cosine corrector, while an M8 fiber connector equipped version decouples the cosine corrector and allows to place the sensor in tight locations.
